İlkin mərhələdə ingilis dili tələffüz vərdişlərinin aşılanması üçün hər iki dildə oxşar samitlərin tələffüz məxrəcinin izah edilməsi çox vacibdir. Belə ki, Bütün insanlarda nitq orqanları eyni olsa da, ingilis və Azərbaycan dillərinin daşıyıcıları eyni samit səsləri fərqli şəkildə tələffüz edirlər. Ona görə də Azərbaycan auditoriyasında ingilis dilinin öyrədilməsinin ilkin mərhələsində samitlərin tələffüzünə xüsusi diqqət yetirilməlidir. Bu məqalədə Azərbaycan dili daşıyıcılarının ingilis samitlərini tələffüz edərkən ortaya çıxan fərqlər müəyyənləşdirilir, onlarda bu tələffüz fərqlərinin aradan qaldırılması və müvafiq vərdişlərin aşılanması yolları göstərilir. Məqsədlə yanaşı, nitq səslərinin əmələ gəlməsində müxtəlif artikulyasiya üsulları müşahidə olunur. İngilis dilində samit səslərin artikulyasiyasının öyrədilməsi metodlarına xüsusi diqqət yetirilir.

Methods of teaching pronunciation abilities at the earlier stage
Abstract
At the earlier stage of teaching the English language in the Azerbaijani auditorium it is necessary to take into consideration the articulatory process of the English consonants. Though there are similar articulatory work of the organs of speech of the English and the Azerbaijani languages, there are differences in producing consonants. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the pronunciation of consonants at the earlier stage of teaching English in the Azerbaijani auditorium. In this article the differences that appear when the speakers of the Azerbaijani language pronounce the English consonants are determined, they show the ways of eliminating these pronunciation differences and inculcating the relevant habits. Alongside the purpose of different manner of articulating is observed in the production of speech sounds. Special attention is paid to methods of teaching of articulation of consonant sounds in English.
