Summary
Amidoamine was synthesized on the basis of corn fatty acid and hexamethylenediamine in a ratio of 1: 1 mol. Compositions were prepared by using synthesized amidoamine with various fatty acids (sunflower, corn, cotton and soy) in a ratio of 1: 1 mol. In order to improve the quality of road bitumen, these compositions were used as high-quality additives for road bitumen. Compositions prepared for this purpose were added to bitumen in the amount of 0.4% and 0.6% and the quality indicators were compared with the quality indicators of road bitumen produced at Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (HAOR). Based on the quality indicators of bitumen, it can be noted that additives based on the composition of amidoamine with sunflower and corn fatty acids that are added to bitumen with amount of 0.4%, the bitumen penetration at 25°C without additives 48 mm, with additive 50mm, tension without additive 75cm, with additive up to 90 cm, and the brittleness temperature ranged from minus 18ºC to -27ºC.
The addition of 0.4% and 0.6% of the synthesized amidoamine to sunflower and corn fatty acids as additives to road bitumen changed the bitumen adhesion from 3 to 1.
